‘Exercise One’ is a narrative short drama about Juli, who has recently undergone gender affirming surgery.
To keep her newly created vagina from closing, she must endure painful dilation exercises.
In search of support and comfort, she turns to the internet. Her longing for closeness eventually drives her out into the night in pursuit of love — but the night does not unfold as she had hoped.

The film is based on the director’s own life.
